We stopped at a nice place to eat, where the people owned this exotic bird.

Still at their place, they had incredible decoration, which looked so unusual.

We transfered after some days to Samaná in the Grand Bahia, which took a complete day. Here's the view from our room.

This was paradise a small hotel with excellent crew, far away from industrial tourism.

We went to visit a public beach, on the way, we saw houses like this one.

Once on the north of Samaná's Peninsula. Paradise was here. It was a cold winter in Europe at that moment....

I had some thoughts to my friends who were freezing with -15 degrees C (-26 F)...

This hotel was really nice, I liked the stairs everywhere in the colonial style.

... and cowboys .. Then we left from Samana and went to Puerto Plata, which was a really industrial touristic place.

After that, we went to Punta Cana, and stopped in a village that was a dream of an architect...

Before leaving we found that funny hybrid vehicule, a kind of boat with wheels.

Once arrived in Punta Cana (OK it was not Punta Cana but very close on the North), there was a lot of coral on the beach.

and so many coconuts..

Some local people made their gift shops here, which were so better than the ones in the hotels, and even in the cities.
